William Commander is a 2011 graduate from Elon University, where he earned a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is originally from Millville, NJ. Professional Credits: ClancyWorks Dance Company (dancer and AiE teaching artist) 2011-present, kearns dance project (Dancer) 2010-2011, Greensboro Fringe Festival (Dancer) 2010, Shape Shifter’s Multiple Exposures IV (Dancer) 2010, American College Dance Festival (Dancer) 2010-2011, Ballet South Inc. of New Jersey (Choreographer and Dancer) 2005-2007.

Played by Karmen Fails
Karmen Fails is originally from Columbus, OH and an alum from University of the Arts here in Philadelphia.  She began dancing at the age of 12 at Balletmet Columbus and is a graduate of their pre-professional program.  In Columbus she coached jazz and lyrical dance teams, as well as taught all styles of dance; from ballet to ballroom.  Now in Philadelphia, Karmen leads instruction in ballet, funk, hip hop and salsa at various studios in the area.  She is the co-founder of POP n’wedLOCK, an innovative choreography company for weddings and events.  If you’re flying out of Philadelphia you can look for Karmen as well… she is a featured dancer on the How Philly Moves mural that is visible at the Philadelphia International Airport.

Gabriel Nyantakyi has a background in numerous marshal arts and is a professional  Raks Sharqi  dancer. Raks sharqi is the the Arabic term for what is commonly called belly dance. Gabriel currently dances at Little Marakesh Morrocan restaurant in Dresher PA

based on the popular video game series Final Fantasy, Philly Phantasy explores the lives of seven people who come together to help save or destroy the world. More information to come soon.

Performances are Sept 9th at 8pm and Sept 10th at 3:30pm and 8pm.
